Have an exciting new experience in Joondalup - Perth's northern home of art, music and performance. With 21 days of incredible shows and activities to discover, there's bound to be something to tickle your fancy and whet your wonder.

Joondalup Festival returns in 2024 with giant illuminated creatures, a love to the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, a pram flash mob and many more performances taking place over the three weeks.

In a WA premiere, each night Hillarys Boat Harbour will transform into Electric Kingdom - an award-winning and jaw-dropping public art installation of glowing animals in epic proportions. Free to the public, the installation will be home to a magnificent menagerie of gentle giants including the menacing Tiger, the mighty Falcon, the roly-poly Pandas, the towering Giraffes, and Tarutharu the Kaurna Skink.

This event adds to the WA-first ARETHA: A Love Letter to the Queen of Soul, taking place on March 8 and 9. Visit the website for the full program.
