Kati Watson's Last Supper is lament on the first world's over consumption of scarce resources. It is an ambitious installation. A cornucopia of elegant forms, decorated with sinuous lines and a muted palette which ties into Watson's admiration and respect for our one and only planet. As Kati says in her catalogue essay, 'the work I make comes from somewhere deep within me and is tied in with my ideas of beauty and a deep love for the natural world.'
Lorna Napanangka is an established artist from Papunya Tula Artists, based at Kiwirrkurra in Western Australia. Lorna's work is in many important public collections, but she has recently radically changed the way she paints. The paintings are dynamic and yet subtle, depicting the sacred site of Marrapinti.
