Verity Lane Market's six locally owned kitchens have each created a unique dish, each featuring a locally grown or produced ingredient.
These featured ingredients have come from some of Canberra's favourite businesses, and some hidden gems!
Pizza Artigiana will have the Fig & Roo pizza, using Kangaroo prosciutto from local Poachers Pantry out in Springrange, figs & fig balsamic from Hundred Acres Produce, mozzarella, rocket and gorgonzola.
La Cocina Pura are using spaghetti from Nonna Maria's Pasta in Mitchell, to create a Creamy Chicken and Chicken Pasta.
Seoul Chicken will use fresh brioche buns from Canberra's Three Mills Bakery for their 'Deluxe Burger' with crispy chicken.
Using green Cleo Apples from Tanbella Orchard in Pialligo, Lim Peh's Wonton Noodles are serving Rojak, a Singaporean side dish of fruit salad with a spicy palm sugar dressing.
Rasa Rosa will have crispy Pineapple Fritters for dessert with cinnamon, honey and vanilla ice cream. Rasa Rosa is using The Cook Grocer Honey, uniquely Canberran made by bees in Cook, Aranda and Monash.
Superbao are using pumpkins from local grower Ingelara Farm, for a sweet and gooey Sesame Ball, with a sweet pumpkin filling and salted caramel drizzle.
