Yellah Fellah explores the complex journey of self-expression by four distinctive contemporary Indigenous artists.
Their unique narratives, rooted in their Aboriginal and Chinese heritage, and shaped by their upbringing in Australia, are moving, empowering and whimsical.
Curated for OzAsia Festival, this exhibition brings together artists from several Country and Language groups - including Gary-Lee- Larrakia from Darwin, Jason Wing - Biripi from Taree/Cabramatta, Damien Shen - Ngarrindjeri from Adelaide and Caroline Oakley - Gamilaroi form the Liverpool plains NSW.
